TeamLab Borderless: Explore the World of Digital Arts in Tokyo

Teamlab Borderless Digital Art Museum is a surreal world of digital arts that previously could only be seen in our dreams. Teamlab Borderless is officially known as the Mori Building Digital Art Museum.

Teamlab Borderless is the first digital art museum in the world. It is called borderless because the artworks in this museum can move out of the rooms, blend with other artworks and interact with people, creating an interactive 3D space. This magical world of imagination and illusion covers an area of 10,000 square meters and contains more than 50 pieces of digital artwork.

Tickets: ¥3200 (around $29.16) for adults, ¥1000 ($9.11) for children . You can purchase tickets at the door or online

Address: 1-3-8, Aomi Odaiba Palette Town, MORI Building Digital Art Museum: teamLab Borderless, Koto 135-0064 Tokyo Prefecture

The most famous digital installations in the museum are the Forest of Resonating Lamps, the Universe of Water Particles on a Rock Hill, and the Crystal World.

1. The Forest of Resonating Lamps

The Forest of Resonating Lamps is a room with hundreds of colorful high-tech lamps that hang from a black ceiling. If you stand close to one lamp, the lamp will change its color and transmit this color to other lamps one after another. The mirrored walls of the room create the illusion of the infinite forest of lamps.

2. Universe of Water Particles on a Rock Hill where People Gather

In this space, you will feel like you are standing under the magical glowing waterfall. If you touch the walls or floor, the water will change its direction and color.
